Internals
The Internals Committee is responsible for hosting a variety of social events and competitions throughout the semester, including week of welcome where the committee hosts an event every day of the first week of school to welcome back members new and old. All of the Internals events promote the growth of relationships and friendships within the club, providing members with fun opportunities to bond and get to know new people!
Social Events
The internals committee is in charge of planning and hosting various socials throughout a given semester. From movie and game nights, Mario Kart and poker tournaments, our semesterly pickleball tournament, to egg drop and bridge building competitions, there is something for everyone. To close out every semester, we host our biggest event, the end-of-semester barbeque. Hosted at Lake Wauburg, we have a ton of fun activities like volleyball, cornhole, scrapbooking, and of course, a bunch of good food!

Mentor-Mentee Program
Another huge part of the internals committee is our mentor-mentee program, which pairs newer ChemE students with older, more experienced ChemEs, providing a bridge for students to get advice on both academics and life as an engineering student. Group sizes can range anywhere from just one mentor and one mentee to a large family with two mentors and several mentees depending on what you preference. We host a mentor-mentee “shopping” event during our Week of Welcome to find a compatible match for everyone so you get the most out of the experience. There are weekly challenges designed for you to get to know your family better, and at the end of each semester, the group with the most points from challenges wins a prize!

Intramurals
Another part of internals is putting together intramural sports teams. The sport options are endless, with options such as soccer, indoor soccer, basketball, beach volleyball, flag football, and more!
