Three Department of Chemical Engineering Professors Named UF Term Professors

Department of Chemical Engineering Distinguished Professors, Ranga Narayanan, Mark Orazem, and Fan Ren have been selected to receive the University of Florida Term Professorship award for 2018-2021. These three-year professorships were created by UF to recognize faculty who have established a distinguished record of research and scholarship.

Students Win Best Presentation Awards at NanoFlorida Conference

October 7, 2018

Calen Leverant and Russell Macoon won best presentation awards at the NanoFlorida Conference at Florida Institute of Technology on Oct. 5-7, 2018. Leverant won best presentation in Photonics, and Macoon won best presentation in Nanomedicine. Students and faculty in attendance shared nanotechnology research in medicine, materials and devices, energy and the environment, agriculture, space exploration, and education.
