
More than 100 people – mostly students – attended the 25th annual GRACE Symposium on Sept. 25, 2024, providing an opportunity for University of Florida chemical engineering students to showcase their projects, meet industry professionals and discuss new advances in research.
Oral presentation winners were Victor Rivera-Llabres, Cynthia Ezeh and Yunhan Chuai. Graduate poster winners were Raymond Pho and Caroline Lubbe. Undergraduate poster winners were Sydney Antal and Cintron Baerga.
UF chemical engineering alumnus Wayne Johnson, Ph.D., served as a keynote speaker. Johnson is founder and president of Soundside Partners, a strategic, technical and commercial advisory firm focusing on the semiconductor industry. He is an author who holds 20 U.S. patents.
Graduate Association of Chemical Engineers, known as GRACE, is a student organization within the Department of Chemical Engineering.
