Victor Rivera-Llabres was selected to attend the 2019 Southern Regional Educational Board (SREB) Institute on Teaching and Mentoring in Atlanta on Oct. 24-27, 2019.

I’m really excited for the opportunity of attending the 2019 SREB Institute of Teaching and Mentoring Conference and network with current graduate students, faculty and professionals,” says Rivera-Llabres.

The Institute on Teaching and Mentoring has become the largest gathering of minority doctoral scholars in the country. Now in its 26th year, the Institute gives the issue of faculty diversity a national focus and provides minority scholars with the strategies necessary to survive the rigors of graduate school, earn the doctoral degree and succeed as members of the professoriate.
